Two Ways to Work

VLI is pleased to propose a two-tier agreement to test the feasibility of your protein:

1. For $7,500 VLI will clone, express and purify your protein in our proprietary UBL fusion in E.coli or a suitable host. A few mg of partially purified protein will be submitted for evaluation.



2. A second phase can then be negotiated wherein protein or peptide can be labeled and purified on a large scale.

The UBL technology can be licensed for a short term (6 months) or long-term basis. The licensing fee includes delivery of the following material.

• We provide a vector for E.coli. [Yeast (S.cerevisiae) and insect cells are also available to suit your needs].



• We provide detailed instructions for the expression system.



• We provide purified fusion protein standards to monitor cleavage of the test fusions and confirm the robustness of the enzyme. This property has made our system the best in its class.



• We are prepared to provide fused and un-fused UBL vectors for standard proteins so that scientists can verify that the system works to enhance the quality and quantity of protein.



• Depending upon your need, we will supply the cleaving enzyme in unlimited quantity for trial experiments.



• In addition, we actively participate with your team to guide the selection of candidate proteins, and we share our experience with the growing number and variety of proteins that have been expressed by our team.
