NMR Standards

VLI Research Inc. offers labeled and unlabeled BPTI, Maltose Binding Protein, Protein G, and Ubiquitin. Purity is 99.9% as analyzed by amino acid composition and on overloaded SDS gels. VLI will also prepare the desired protein in solution at any concentration and any buffer according to your request. We also ship buffered proteins in sealed NMR tubes, ready for spectral analysis. The proteins are purified to homogeneity and are 100% active in biological assays.

All of our protein products are expressed in E.coli. For labeled proteins, the sole source of Nitrogen and Carbon is ¹⁵N ammonium sulfate and/or ¹³C glucose. For deuterated proteins the culture is adapted to a given percent of D₂O.

His-Ubiquitin

In addition to native ubiquitin, VLI Research, Inc., also markets His-ubiquitin. His-ubiquitin contains 6 histidine residues at its N-terminus. His-ubiquitin is an inexpensive replacement of VLI native ubiquitin UBIQUILABELTM.

Native ubiquitin is purified through rigorous traditional chromatographic procedures, while His-ubiquitin is purified through nickel column. Both proteins are 99% pure.
