Bovine Pancreatic Trypsin Inhibitor is one of the most thoroughly studied proteins in terms of structure and folding pathway. VLI has expressed and purified BPTI using its proprietary gene expression and purification technology.

While BPTI is a very challenging protein to express in E.coli, VLI Research has successfully expressed ¹⁵N and ¹⁵N, ¹³C labeled BPTI.
