Maltose Binding Protein

MBP (Maltose Binding Protein) is purified from E.coli expressing the human MBP gene with an N-Terminal fusion Tag that is removed enzymatically following purification. The cells are grown in media where the sole nitrogen source is ¹⁵N labeled ammonium sulfate and sole carbon source is ¹³C glucose.
